About the Club

The Sei Tou Ken Yu Kai Canterbury Kendo Club is the only New Zealand Kendo Federation affiliated club in Christchurch. Members range from 13 years old to 55 years old. Anyone can join kendo at any stage of life. Members pursue it both recreationally and competitively and we have many opportunities to meet with kendo players from around the South Island and nationwide throughout the year.
